Larry Bennetto, raised on a farm in southern Saskatchewan, learned at an early age that determination and hard work can overcome the adversity of crop failures and most other problems in life. Armed with that philosophy in life, Larry graduated from High School, left the farm and ventured into the business world. During the ensuing years Larry seized every opportunity for more knowledge and experience while working with high profile companies such as The Bank of Montreal, Ontario Hydro Commission, Firestone Tire, Imperial Oil and Construction Equipment Co. (subsidiary of Foundation Company of Canada). Having fallen in love with Vernon and the Okanagan Larry moved with his family to Vernon in 1969. Larry and his brother built 9 houses in 1969. With this background of residential construction, Larry activated his Real Estate license in the fall of 1969. During the next 36 years in Real Estate Larry’s work ethics and motto that ˜problems are opportunities in disguise” resulted in an award for top Realtor in Realty World for Listing and Sales in the US and Canada. Larry received numerous other awards with RE/MAX in the ensuing years. Larry’s expertise in all areas of Real Estate is a comfort to all Buyers and Sellers.
